The Model CNA-300/B-W is a PC based crystal blank measurement system. The CNA-300 quickly sweeps a desired frequency range and accurately displays the crystal response. The resonant frequency can be automatically marked and reported. Alternately, the user can manually mark and observe desired response characteristics. If desired, the crystal response and marked frequencies can be printed. To simplify cabling, the system comes configured to perform a reflection type measurement (see setup diagram below). Since widely varying requirements and preferred methods exist among crystal producers for making electrical contact to the blank, the standard CNA-300/B-W configuration does not include a measurement jig for holding the blanks. Most existing jigs can be used with the CNA-300/B-W either directly or with minor modification. Transat offers a Blank Test Jig, model BT-1000, as a peripheral product. A separate data exists for model BT-1000.
