Transat’s model BT-1000 is a manual, air gap type, blank measurement test jig. Blanks are positioned beneath the upper electrode by means of a sliding table. The table contains the lower electrode as well as a locator plate used to repeatably position blanks relative to the electrodes. Various electrode diameters and locator plate models are available to accommodate a variety of blank shapes and sizes. The air gap is adjusted and controlled by a digital micrometer. Electrical connection to both upper and lower electrode is available via BNC connector.
Transat offers a Turnkey Measurement System for crystal blanks. The model CNA-300/B-W measures the resonant frequency of blanks as well as displaying crystal response over a user specified frequency bandwidth. Together, the model BT-1000 and CNA-300/B-W form a turnkey blank test system. A separate data sheet for the model CNA-300/B-W is available upon request.
