The Model CNA-300/71M is an upgrade package designed to replace the measurement and plating control originally supplied with the Showa Shinku model SFC-71M monolithic two-pole filter plating system. The Transat CNA-300 crystal network analyzer replaces original oscillators to provide a fast, precise transmission method measurement of the MCF. Transat’s MCF plating control algorithm allows continuous plating. Parts are plated in 1 pass (rotation). The upgrade makes no substantial change to the mechanical operation of the system. The filament post, plating wheel, masking and shutters are left as originally supplied. The upgrade can not improve plating behavior which relies on the existing mechanical operation of the system. User settable limits for Fo, BW, symmetry and resistance are used to screen parts both before and after plating. Plating data is continuously updated during operation and can also be printed and/or logged to a computer file. Custom setup files can be created, stored, and easily recalled to simplify operator use. Installation of the upgrade is quick and easy. Transat service personnel or authorized service agents can install the upgrade on-site, typically in several hours.
